Unpopular opinion: I never thought the water temple was the terrible experience many say it is. Don't get me wrong, it was a bitch the first time I did it but I enjoyed the challenge. I actually hated the shadow temple the most, changing to hover boots and equipping the lens of truth. Now I'm at a point years and years later that I can do all these dungeons blind folded from playing so many times lol this game will never get old to me.

No matter how many times I play this game, the water level always proves to be a pain in the... One time going through the game at I finally got to the 36:16 mark after too long of trying to find where to push the boulder only to have no bombs. I was so mad.

I’m playing through oot for what is hopefully the first ever time i actually make it to the end of the game without giving up. I was a bit worried about this temple, but this video is great! Came here, watched on 2x speed, followed exactly, job done. Video is still useful 10 years later.

My favorite Temple. The music, the enemies, and the boss. Everyone talks about the atmosphere of Majora's Mask -- for good reason --- but this has got to be up there as peak fiction aswell. It's transcendentally beautiful if someone told me that this was made by a god I would've believed them. Hard to believe this was made by human hands.

11:02 was literally the cause for my infuriating experience. The temple is not hard but hiding this damn key and having to constantly make you switch boots makes this the worst and most annoying temple for this game.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who finds the Forest Temple more terrifying than the Shadow Temple. The first time I played Ocarina of Time and got to the Forest Temple, I felt very vulnerable, armed with only the Master Sword, the Hylian shield and a few deku nuts and sticks. Even the bow and arrow gave me no comfort, especially when you stumble into the room with the two stalfos that revive themselves if you take too long to take the other one down. And when I got to the boss room and saw Phantom Ganon, I was like: "NO! I fight the final boss here?! NOW?! I'M NOT READY!!!" Even when the subtitles revealed that he is not the real Ganondorf, I still felt terrified when I should have been relieved. Looking back at this now I realize how smart Ganondorf is at psychologically putting fear into his enemies, sending his phantom after Link was a good way to test Link's courage.

The temple is Dramatically improved in the 3Ds version I really enjoy it in that game it happens to be one my favorite dungeons.

I started this temple when I was 9 and finished it with my third grandson.

i was looking all over the place for a key to a locked door and when i FINALLY FOUND IT i saw another locked door in there and i had to take a break before i got too mad. obsessed with this game still anyway.
